2022 European Skeet Champion is from the Czech Republic

At this year's European Championship in Shotgun, which took place in Larnaca, Cyprus, our shooters once again demonstrated their extraordinary skills.

The greatest success was by Jakub Tomecek, who won the title of 2022 European Skeet Champion after a shoot-off for the final, and then again in a shoot-off duel for the gold with the experienced Italian shooter Luigi Lodde.

His triumph at this competition also secured a spot for the Czech Republic at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The Czech Skeet Shooters won their second medal in the Mixed competition, where Barbora Sumova and Jakub Tomecek took home the bronze.

Another one of our shooters was Tomas Nydrle, who had the same chance as Jakub Tomecek to qualify for the finals, but unfortunately, was not as successful in the shoot-off. Considering the health of Tomas, however, this was a respectable performance.
